We believe families deserve to heal, too.
Addiction rarely affects one person. It reshapes entire families. While treatment often focuses on the person struggling, the people who love them can be left carrying fear, confusion, guilt, and exhaustion.
Porch Light was created for their healing. It is a place to understand the story beneath your reactions, reconnect with yourself, and begin finding steadiness even when someone you love is not okay.

ADDICTION CHANGES THE WHOLE FAMILY.
Slowly, life begins revolving around someone else's addiction. You worry. You watch. You rescue. You argue. You hope. You prepare for the next crisis.
Somewhere along the way, you can lose sight of yourself.
These reactions are not character flaws. They are ways you learned to survive uncertainty. Healing begins by understanding where they came from and what is happening to you.
WHAT ADDICTION LEAVES BEHIND

When someone you love is struggling with addiction, it can feel like your entire life is waiting on their next decision.
IT DOESN'T HAVE TO STAY THAT WAY.
Porch Light helps you understand the story beneath your reactions and begin finding steadiness within yourself.
Not so you can control what they choose, but so you can care for yourself even when they are not okay.
YOU CAN'T CHOOSE WHEN THEY COME HOME.
YOU CAN CHOOSE WHO OPENS THE DOOR.
A DIFFERENT WAY FORWARD
HEALING, NOT JUST LEARNING

Porch Light offers space away from the crisis to slow down, understand what you are carrying, and listen to what your reactions are trying to protect.
This is not about giving up on someone you love. It is about learning how to remain connected to yourself when their life feels uncertain.
UNDERSTAND YOUR STORY
See how past experiences shape what happens inside you now.
Notice what happens in your body when fear and urgency take over.

You don't have to know how this ends to begin living differently now.

WHY PORCH LIGHT

Because families shouldn't have to wait for someone else's recovery to begin their own healing.
Many family programs offer valuable education about addiction, boundaries, and ongoing support. Porch Light serves a different purpose.
We create a private place to step away fro crisis, explore the story beneath yuor reactions, and begin finding steadiness when someone you love is not okay.
That healing creates the foundation that allows boundaries, recovery education, and continued support to finally take hold.
WE CAN'T CHOOSE WHEN THEY COME HOME.
BUT WE CAN CHOOSE WHO OPENS THE DOOR.
